Agony of Bharatha Matha-My discussion with Bhartha Matha

on

Introduction:
Dear readers, this article doesn’t follow the rules set to write an article because it’s my feeling. In my introspection I found a woman sitting under a tree lonely and crying. I asked her who are u matha? She said “My son, didn’t u recognize me? Its me, your Bharath Maatha!” I asked, “Mother, why are u crying? What happened?” The result is – Her eyes are filled with tears of blood, which I am unable to stop! With those blooded tears coming out of her eyes, she said, “My son, it cant be stopped until u get to know the root cause of my agony.” And she told me the cause for her agony. This article is the result of that story filled with agony, which she told me.

Article:
Bharatha bhumi gave birth to many knowledgeable sons who have proven their knowledge beyond the sky. Their contribution is all the fame we are enjoying now, claiming that, we ‘Indians’ are great! India’s greatness is not known by us, but by our elder brothers who worked day and night, with no weekend parties and fun. We have no right to take false claim for their greatness until we continue their tradition. Despite of not following tradition we forgot the tradition itself! We have many great scholars and their great works, that we have already forgotten! But, the rest of the world is praising them!
For example, lets take Bhaskaracharya.

Bhāskarāchārya was an Indian mathematician and astronomer. He was born near Vijjadavida. Bhaskara is alleged to have been the head of an astronomical observatory at Ujjain, the leading mathematical center of ancient India. He lived in the Sahyadri region.

Bhaskara and his works represent a significant contribution to mathematical and astronomical knowledge in the 12th century. He has been called the greatest mathematician of medieval India. His main work the Siddhanta Siromani, “(Crown of treaties),” is divided into four parts called Lilavati , Bijaganita, Grahaganita and Goladhyaya. These four sections deal with arithmetic, algebra, mathematics of the planets, and spheres respectively.
Bhaskara’s work on calculus predates Newton and Leibniz by half a millennium. He is particularly known in the discovery of the principles of differential calculus and its application to astronomical problems and computations. While Newton and Leibniz have been credited with differential and integral calculus, there is strong evidence to suggest that Bhaskara was a pioneer in some of the principles of differential calculus. He was perhaps the first to conceive the differential coefficient and differential calculus.

Bhaskaracharya was the first ever known scientist, to have mentioned about the gravitational force of the earth, in his work ‘Surya Siddhanta’, about 500 years before Newton!

But are we taught this in any of our schools or colleges? Instead, we are taught about Newton!
Ok.. There’s nothing wrong in being taught about Newton.. But why are we not trying to know about our own people, who have done a more better job, that too , in a far better way, much earlier than the westerners?
Is anyone capable of thinking of what is happening in our country?????
Does anyone dare to accept the truth that we are trying to make Lord Macaulay’s dream of making this nation, an ever ‘slave’ of the British!,……..His dreams of replacing the ancient education system of India, thus breaking the very backbone of this nation, come true……..which is her spiritual and cultural heritage!

Unless we understand this, no change can be brought about in this country, may it be making it corruption free or complete freedom!

My heart cries…..when I see the citizens of Bharat, that too, the so called ‘educated class’ who are innocently following the west being unaware of our own greatness.

Do we need to wait for someone else at the next door to bring about the change? We never try to come forward until and unless someone closely related to us are affected!
Have we lost all our sensations, have we lost a heart that beats for others too?
Why not we look back at the history of this nation, when people were ready to sacrifice themselves, for the sake of their nation, their leader, for a good cause?
Where are we today??
Lost in the attractions of the west????
Where did the patriotism vanish???(only rushes out when Indian team wins a cricket match)
I find people around me who feel ashamed to recognize themselves as Bharatiyas and stay on their toes, to fly to the west, to get the citizenship of some other country!Does this in any way help us in retaining the respect of this country?? Come let us get united and use our intelligence, hard work,  strength, and all possible resources in bringing about a change in this country and get back her glory, there by coming out of  slavery!
